The Amelio Della Chiesa Early Childhood Center (ECC) is a vibrant educational community dedicated to the education and development of pre-Kindergarten students. As part of the Quincy Public Schools system, we have a rich history of providing exceptional early education experiences and a nurturing environment to Quincy children aged 3 to 5.

Our building opened in March 1994 on the site of the former Lincoln Elementary School in southwest Quincy and is named in honor of former Quincy Mayor Amelio Della Chiesa.

We hold certification from the National Association of Educators of Young Children and offer a comprehensive range of programs designed to provide a solid foundation for your child's educational journey. Our building offers modern facilities and a child-friendly atmosphere that promotes curiosity, creativity, and active participation. With a strong emphasis on individualized attention, the experienced staff members at Della Chiesa ensure that each child's unique needs and abilities are met.

We are proud to offer an integrated pre-Kindergarten program, which provides high-quality opportunities for children with special needs and their typically developing peers. We also offer a Special Needs Learning Center, which services pre-Kindergarten students with multiple disabilities, as well as a CARES program for students who have been diagnosed on the autism spectrum.

We understand that each child is unique, with their own talents, interests, and learning styles. At Della Chiesa, we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment that celebrates diversity and individuality.
